This chewang guy appears to be another crook....does not want to take responsibility of losses from Boston ANA, does not want to move ahead until he gets signature from people involved in providing him balances ...what good is this guy's role then? i dont understand it....even a monkey can do his job if everyone were going to come forward and provide him all the numbers....this guy has no clue about taking responsibility and should be going after the people who are responsible for all the money.  Next is Simon, it almost appears that he staged this BS meeting to justify losses incurred last year and only in words trying to show as if they are doing something about it. But lets look at the outcome of this phoney meeting....did they touch base on making the balance sheet transparent? NO, are they actively pursuing the people responsible for giving back the money? NO.....so on and so forth and the end result is the same, it still is in square one with no initiative shown by these people to move ahead to recover or investigate anything. All I can say is he was trying to dodge the question posed by DJ Gorkhali at 22mins of the video....and dodging was all he did...look at how this president dude is in a rush to end the meeting....
it seems like the lost money will never be recovered and that ANA will never make it's balance sheet transparent to the public...something appears very very shady.

I have been saying this all along.  ANA exec. are nothing but a bunch of wanna be politicians who are running ANA just like Nepali Government.  They are not there for people like you and me, they are there only for themselves.  If they really cared, they would have done a through investigation to let us know what went wrong.  Their inability to do that just shows how incompitent ANA is.  This same mentality has brought Nepal as a country to its knees.  These people should be held accountable if justice is to be served, otherwise THIS WILL HAPPEN AGAIN. Then what ? Let them steal again ?

Mr. president! you think you have the right to forward the so-called motion ignoring the voice of other members. Then, you are responsible for the old mess that the boston convention created too. It is the right of members to know what’s going on in the organization. First, clean up your shit before asking others to close their nose. All we want is fair justice and nobody should be liable for other's criminal act. You want us as ANA members to pay your personal bills. Hell No!! Submit all debit/credit-notarized (as per rules and regulations) receipts and make the ANA’s financial status transparent before introducing new agendas. If you can’t you are criminal and you do not have right to forward the motion rather you should be behind the bar. It does not matter whoever you are Nepali fellow/brother or someone else. Crime is crime. And, I, as a member all I want to say is criminals should be in jail and have no right force the motion of the meeting of a non profit organization like ANA ignoring the voice of other members.

Why is this hardly surprising?

We've seen so much outcry over the corruption by politicians back home. If we wanted to hold "Nepali" officials accountable for any wrong doing, we lost a golden opportunity initiate a chain reaction here in US. Instead of uniting against corruption in ANA, we went there united for the sake of entertainment. If there was so much momentum amongst youth to clean up the dirty laundry of Nepalis, this would have been such an ideal place and time, and the simple Boycotting of the event would have been enough to be taken notice. By going to this particular Criminal-run convention, sitting in futile bickerings, and supporting its cause, we've given out a strong message: it is OK for Nepalis to embezzle money here in the states (perhaps not in Nepal!) and nobody is accountable for it.
