I was planning to go to nepal this winter but some people said that there are many who couldn't come back to US because of the people at port of entry. Is it true??

plzzzz. kasailai yasko bare ma kehi idea bhaye ma post gardinu hola. my friend kauwaa (aka kaagji) visited nepal last summer but he says everything is cool at port of entry. i was out of status once and now i'm cool.

if you are illegal, on OPT or F1 status with lower grade then better don't go to nepal.

My friends just came back from Nepal and they had no problems. Make sure u r on status and check with SEVIS.
By the way, don't blame us for not having the knowledge of current immigration situation. If you want to go then be my guest, why hesitate? I don't think we are obligated to keep you informed.

Is there any way that you can check your status? What if you were once out of status but currently in status, can u visit?

I don't think you can just check your status. If you are out of status, it will show up when it is too late and you can't do anything about it. There is no way to check it as far as I know.

Go to your admissions office and ask for help to check your status.
