Looks like Bikas Jyu has the whole world against him. I can understand people's passion for football. It is a sport that requires a lot of stamina and mental toughness. HOWEVER, why in the world do we Nepalis even pick up that boat paddle looking thing called a cricket bat. That is the sorriest sport in the world. I would put Golf, Cricket and Chess in a category of their own. Maybe we would have better luck playing golf or something. At least that can get you a lot of money. Cricket on the other hand is just very sad.

About Nepali's lack of skill in football. In my opinion there are a lot of reasons. And the lack of talent and passion is not one of them. To excel on an international scale, I think there are two things we are missing:
1. The proper expert training
2. INCENTIVE (money)

Lets take France for example... why is France better than any other African team??? Especially taking into consideration that most of the French squad is full of Africans? Same case with Dutch but to a lesser degree. Well, the reason is because they have the proper training and a lot of incentives for poor players to really make some money from football.
