SITAULA, A FOREIGN AGENT, SUJATA ALLEGES

Sujata Koirala, a Nepali Congress Leader and daughter of the incumbent Prime Minister Girija Prasad Koirala have charged the Home Minister K.P Sitaula for working as an agent of some “mysterious organization”.
“Sitaula has been inefficient to perform his duties and unless he resigns from his post there is no possibly of CA polls”, Ms. Koirala said.
Asked by a reporter as to why she was criticizing her party’s own minister in the cabinet, Koirala replied, “The Ministry for home affairs belongs to the Nepali Congress but it is not known from where the Home Minister gets his orders”.
The Terai is burning however, the government six-member team for talks and Sitaula himself looked indifferent to the “Madhesi grievances”, Koirala added.
The talks for declaring republic prior to the CA polls is nothing but a ploy to add to the already volatile situation in the country, Koirala concluded. July 6, 2007.
