I am actively looking for a cater/cook for a wedding reception party in San Francisco probably arround May/June. I am looking for a catering service/cook who can cook and serve Nepelese food. I am also  looking for a pundit who can do the rituals. If anyone is interested please provide me with with your information, experience and availability. Coordening wedding is also a plus. The qualified candidate/ group would be paid in cash  and there would also be a significent bonus if the food and wedding would be excellent/ above average. I am sure this wedding will have implications to your tax life, immigration, census etc. Therefore, I would recommend you to apply for marriage license in the state where marriage ceremony will be performed before completing the matrimonial rituals. If the pundit, you gonna pick for the rituals, has license from the state of CA,  that should make his signature validation on your marriage license legal. If you have trouble finding Nepali pundit you could go with Hindu Pundit of Indian Origin available in your locality

For Catering and Pundit you might wanna contact Indian Caterers at Sulekha.com. Any of those caterers should be able to recommend you a pundit too. And yes, if you wanna have the reception in a hotel banquet room, you might be able to find a hotel/inn in your area that serves Indian food since a lot of Inns/motels are run by Indians.

Thank you very much for your post guys. There are some indian pundits and catering available in SAN FRAN..... but our real interest is to give an oppurtunity for our countrymen and would love to serve authentic Nepali food as well and make it memorable. I hope we are not lucked out on that.

Most of the cities in USA has temples and you can get Indian pandits for any rituals. You will find  Nepali pandit if you are in DC area. Can you affod one to visit you?????

I know all the ritual process, but I realized I m too young 20 yo, so ppl might not believe me as a Pundit..However, I will suggest you to go to the Livermore Temple, which is really big and have seen many Nepali marrying in there.
