If you are using OS 2.1 or greater there's no need of apps such as ATK or Task Manager! It brings more problems! Battery experience was better for me without these apps..Thnx maxpayne, I just installed Tune in Radio and it works for kantipur radio..anyone knows how to listen BBC Nepali?
Keep this thread alive.

Kanchho bhai, thanks for creating the thread for Android Apps and thanks all for sharing your experiences here. Here's the list of apps that I have been using:- 1. TuneInRadio (Radio streaming) 2. Opera Mini (Browser) 3. Gem Miner (Game) 4. Angry Birds (Game) 5. Baghchal (Game) 6. Nepalnews (news from Nepal) 7. Skype 8. Advance Task Killer (it's not helping me save the battery though) 9. Barcode Scanner 10. JEFIT (fitness related) and few more... BTW, I own G2 and I have to charge my phone everyday even if I use it to a moderate amount the battery goes down to 30-40% at the end of the day. I have installed Advance Task Killer, but I notice some of the apps still be on the task even if I don't use them at all like Wifi Calling, Yahoo Messenger, Amazon MP3, photobucket etc. Any suggestion to get rid of those apps. from running in background? Thanks.

The much awaited NETFLIX is now available on select android devices.

Netflix unleashes Android app into the Market, select devices only
News by Dan Seifert on Thursday May 12, 2011.

It appears that the LG Revolution will not be the first Android device blessed with a Netflix app, as Netflix itself has announced the availability of an official app in the Android Market.
The app allows streaming of content over 3G or Wi-Fi connections, and will even resume playback where you left off on your computer or other device. You can also manage your queue and browse movies directly from your phone.
It is only compatible with select phones though, so not everyone will be able to get in on the fun. Owners of the HTC Incredible, HTC Nexus One, HTC Evo 4G, HTC G2, and Samsung Nexus S can download and install the app right now. Interestingly enough, there is no support for Android tablets as of yet. Netflix claims that it is working on expanding the number of devices that the app is compatible with.
Users with compatible phones can head over to the Android Market now to download and install the app. Netflix for Android is free, though it requires a monthly Netflix subscription. [Netflix via Engadget]
