HHHHmmmmm have to defend my vikings.........hehehe Proud bro, u are right about one week charm thing, but its funny what a comeback victory can do to vulnerable fans like us, hehe i don't want to compare culpepper with brady and such, brady has proven to be a winner. no one comes close, but culpepper ain't bad either, i won't be surprised if culpepper throws more ints in coming games than touchdowns, i hope he doesn't but i won't be surprised if he does, he needs at least a season to get over his past where randy would run down the field and raise his hand and throw the bomb, he needs to realize finally he is an average good QB wuthout randy moss, heck randy moss made even Gus frerrote and Todd bouman look like legitimate starters, but everything said and done, although its unfortunate that the much praised offensive line that vikings had the late 90s and early 2000 is there no more, and it has certainly had its effects on culpepper and his sacks, excuses cannot be made to defend a QB or team, vikings is as ill-coached and ill-managed team as there is in NFL, even Tice knows this is his last yr, eveeryone knows................. mewelde moore is good but not strong enough, too prone to injuries, anyways, whatever i said maybe all wrong and my vikings actually prove me wrong..:)

Man, this would be the worst year for the Packers. Every week its hit by injuries. Now, the question is not "who is injured?", the question is "who is healthy?" Who said its time to change the quarterback. If it was not for Favre, the defense wouldnt have any points to defend. He is the one leading in TD passes. I feel sorry for Favre. What can he do? He is doing all he can only to see a heart breaker. Its so sad to see his interview after the game man. Very sad story for a great great quarterback like Favre. Only a miracle can save them now from being 2-14.

Unknown bro, Hats off to you. that's the way to put the bitter-sweet experience of a favorite team. Vikes have improved Hugely on defense. Oh.. the Numbers might show them to be amongst the worst but I will tell you that "THE VIKES" have top 15 defense in the country. OF course, the stats look bad on their defense. but it's very easy to understand why the stats look so horrible? The thing that makes the DEFENSE look bad or say can affect their stats is the Length of the time the OPPosing offense remains on the field/the number of plays the opposing offense runs. If you are Vikes and your Offense goes 1,2,3 and out. then your defense is going to be on the field all day long. And in the process they will be giving up More and more yardages and also the ScORES. TO make the matter worse when your offense keeps turning the ball over... the DEfense will have too much to do. hence numbers add up and the pretty good defense appears miserable. By the way Pats are the ones who have lost More Playmakers than any other teams in the league. We have lost the coaches and some BIG-Time names from the locker room. And that surely had haunted us in our games. yet, the team is always waiting for Sunday to come just to prove that the Heart of the Champion cannot be vanished even though some Athletes on Key Skill positions are not there. Packers-titans-vikes to some lesser extent are the other sufferers of the off-season trades/moves. The trade actually was in the favor of Vikes. They got 5 key players in exchange of "MOSS." But again, they didn't get anyone as BIG as MOSS- when it comes to playmaking. Well, The vikes LOST THEIR Offensive Co-ordinator to go along with MOSS. And his absence has been hugely felt in that Vikes gameplanning. AND DON'T FORGET THE VIKES ALSO lost their starting RB due to SUSpension for the season. When you lose Your Primary Receiver, Rusher, and play caller (off. coordnator) your offense is surely going to starve. Ask ME (the pats nation) how we feel on defense? Oh well, lets hope last week's game was the Turning point for the Vikes season. It's never too late to win that divison. here in New England we have this saying "In Bill We trust." As long as Brady is leading that offense and Belichick is calling the plays, there is always a hope. jai Nepal Go Pats Go proudnepali

Looks like some people do expect Redskins to win now. What are your thoughts on Redskins guys? About the game vs Giants, i think Redskins defense will match up with Giants offense, but Giants defense is not that good to stop Redskins offense.

ProudNepali, It wasn't someone who said Culpepper has Brady like accuracy. I said that, and I am still with that viewpoint eventhough I see you disagree with me. Let's not forget he had a MVP like season last year over-shadowed only by the razor sharp performance from Manning. Now, you might argue that it was Moss. Moss can't catch the ball anywhere its thrown. You need some accuracy to go 55 yarder even for the great WR as Moss. I never said he was like Tom Brady. Brady is a master craftsman, there is no doubt, but there is some of the things that he does which is better than Brady. He runs runs better than Brady, he is better outside the pocket than Brady, he's got the arm strength to go along with. It takes the performance of the whole team to come up big on big plays and he was the frontline leader in the team. I believe it is time now that Culpepper needs to show what he is capable of. He has been in a lot of pressure, thats when he starts making mistakes. He needs to step up big time here, makes those plays that he can and develop into a QB that he can be. It takes some special work when you are down 17-0 to come out win the game against Brett Favre. While they might be struggling, that should have been a game winner for Packers right there. Thats the kind of game that gets the team spirit where he needed to be for Vikings. Lets watch the game against Carolina. They will be a different team. Their defense has improved immensely and it is the offense that needs to come out right here.

The bad thing is he has to cover me. The good is he can save 15 percent by switching his (auto) insurance to Geico."

'Looks like some people do expect Redskins to win now" Redskins is the better team of the two, but they're playing in their home turf and Mara just died. If it weren't for Mara's death, I would have picked Redskins myself. Giants defense blows(ranked 31st). I would say it's going to be a close one, but Giants will win.

AX Finally u and I have all but one pick in common, so we are going to be good this week. I might not be completely sold to this GIANTS team as they still have to win a good road game (with a deserving opponent), but boy are they fun to watch. Last week they played passing game. This week when Redskins focused on Burres, Shockey, Toomar; Giants, specially Barber, excelled in rushing game this week. They have superstar (Strahan) as defense and number of offensive weapons in TE, WR and RBs in Shockey, Burres, Toomer and Barber. I like what the GM (Ernie Acrosse, if I got the spelling right) has done with this team. Eli is a Quarterback for next 10 years as Michael Kay said. This team has a great future and the present looks equally promising. WTG, I only hope JETS do the same next year.

Again another heart breaking loss for the Packers. Packers go on match tieing drive and on the 2nd to the last play with less than 50 seconds remaining a fan runs on the field and take the ball from Favre's hand when he is about to throw!! Favre throws 5 interceptions, a career high in regular season. Most of them were just misunderstanding by his receivers and tipped. Again injuries to the main receivers. The Steelers come to Lambeau field next week. Whats next??
