ढुकुटी लुट्ने 'राष्ट्रवादी' धन्दा

१९ माघको शाही घोषणा र राजाको गुणगानमा दोहोरी गाएर आफूलाई 'राष्ट्रवादी पत्रकार' भनाउने रामप्रसाद खनाल 'राष्ट्रवाद' का नाममा आफ्ना ताइ न तुइका गीतको क्यासेट र सिडी बेच्न लागेको रहस्य हिमाल खबरपत्रिका ले फेला पारेको छ । २८ वैशाख २०६२ मा खनालले स्थानीय विकास मन्त्री खड्गबहादुर जिसीलाई 'राजा, जनता र साँचो प्रजातन्त्र' नामक क्यासेट, सीडी र भीसीडी 'अधिराज्यका सबै गाविस, नगरपालिका र जिविसमा पुर्‍याउने गरी खरीद गरिदिन' निवेदन दिएका थिए । मन्त्री जिसीले पनि तत्कालै 'उल्लिखित माग उपयुक्त देखिएको हुँदा आवश्यक कारबाही गर्नुहुन' भनेर सचिवलाई तोक लगाएका छन् (हे. पत्र) । मन्त्री जिसीले यस्तो तोक लगाउनु उनको बाध्यता थियो किनकि यो निवेदनको बोधार्थ राजदरबारलाई पनि दिइएको छ । ती क्यासेट, सीडी र भीसीडीमा गीत/सङ्गीतको मर्म छँदैछैन, दलहरू माथि गरिएका भद्दा गाली र दरबारको चरम चाकडीको कर्कश स्वर मात्रै छ ।


खनालको योजना अनुसार ५८ वटा नगरपालिकालाई २० का दरले ११६० वटा, ७५ जिविसलाई १५ वटाका दरले ११२५ र ३९१६ गाविसलाई ९ वटाका दरले ३७०४४ गरी जम्मा ४०३२९ क्यासेट र त्यति नै सीडी खरीद गर्न प्रस्ताव गरिएको छ । सबै गाविस, नपा र जिविसका लागि स्थानीय विकास मन्त्रालयले नै खरीद गरिदिनुपर्ने खनालको प्रस्ताव छ । मन्त्रालयले तत्कालै सबै जिविसलाई क्यासेट खरीद गरिदिन पत्र लेखेपछि जिविसहरूले पनि गाविसलाई पत्र लेखेका छन् । १७ जेठ २०६२ मा धनकुटा जिविसले खनालको त्यो क्यासेट, सीडी, भीसीडी खरीद गर्न सबै गाविसलाई लेखेको पत्र हिमाल सँग सुरक्षित छ ।

The expatriates should discourage any actions abroad by these corrupt by boycotting and not supporting it. If any leaders arrive, then people are ready to welcome them instead of condemning them. A rally in DC was an example. Sujata Koirala used as her own propoganda tool. You all know how much corruption is involved in Nepal from the Koirala family. So, the rally which might had good motive was not fruitful and followed with lotta allegations.

I am not defending Ram Prasad in anyway, but I don't see any convinicing reasons as to why he is sooo bad.

I am assuming that he did not "traffic" any people to foreign countries by coercion. Moral conscience aside, If people were willing to give him 20 lakhs or whatever money they had to go abroad, heck, why would he leave it? It is just a supply and demand thing. I don't see much difference between Ram Prasad and those other educational consultancies who guarantee visas to go to particular countries for a hefty sum.

Ass licking and all those stuffs....they are there. If Ram Prasad wants to sell his cassettes and cd's to the government, directly or indirectly, then it is not his fault. It is, in fact, his ingenuity. It is the responsibility of the government to buy or not to buy his stuffs. I would rather blame on government for buying those "things", than blame on Ram Prasad.
