Prem-dai wrote: "Now, in regards to this Gagan Thapa... we need to exert similar kind of pressure to make sure that he will return Nepal." What a joker you are, prem dai. You dont have to put any pressure on him to return to Nepal. He has been nominated for the same program for past three years and he had been refusing to come because of the political committment he had. One thing is possible that you may be able to reap the fruit that Gagan has planted.

On another note to prem dai You should be actually happy if Gagan settles down here and schools will remain open in absence of his leadership. As a current or former citizen of Nepal , what have you contributed to reform the structure of political organizations, so the current day crisis would not have appeared ? The very question/suggestion you are asking should be directed back to you...SIR.

Prem_dai .. why are u being so pessimistic about Gagan. What have you done for ya country? I can't understand the people like you... can't see anybody doing the right thing. If he was someone like you.. he would have also studied somewhere in US...forget about nepal and nepalese... and get a job .. and settle here. But NO.. he is doing it for the country and trying to help Nepal.. so instead of helping him.. you are trying to belittle him for the things he is doing. You don't have to force him to go back.. he is willingly and happily going back to do something for the country..and I can't beleive those words coming from a person who is in US and not in Nepal. Such a contradiction.

why we nepali try to compare everything usa. i really can not understand that many of us who write in sajha think that we are in usa and are superior. we even dont consider our young and energatic leader/ pop star as a national icon who can turn things around if they are committed in doing good thing in nepal. i had read something about gagan in a thread that " gagan le america ma asylum hanne bho" or sothing similar. why do we consider usa is everything. we should not forget there are still some people in nepal who are committed to nepal and its progress. at least they are doing something for the country. we need to learn how to appreciate things. if we can not, it does not harm to appreciate other who does good things for society. i dont like closing down schools and involvement of kids/youngs in party and politics. but we are passing through some bad phase and we all have to pay something for better future of nepal. please dont say that gagan will stay in usa. i dont think he will ever do unlike most of us here want to do.

I keep hearing for the sake of Nepal.... for the sake of Nepal. If you fuggers are soomuch interested in doing something for Nepal, WHY DON'T YOU GO BACK AND DO SOMETHING INSTEAD OF RUNNING YOUR SHITFACED MOUTH HERE. ESPecially THIS PREM CHARACTER. MOFO THINKS HE IS SOME SORTA EXPERT, LET US SEE YOUR FUGGIN CREDENTIALS BEFORE YOU START DELEGATING PEOPLE HERE. badaa aaayay jaanne !!!!

For Pisces:Your satire about Gagan though tried to equate him with other old crooks of Nepal it is irrelevant for many. Why? Gagan seem to emerge from new freethinking generation who seem to care less about politics and more about fairness and equality. He is the first student leader who is not biased like the rest. The real problem he faces today or will face in the future is that he is afterall the product of same filthy political field where all the others emerged in the past. The clean image maintainance is a daunting task.Let's not be ignorant here.I say:You go Gagan. At least I have found someone who speaks for the cause of liberty.

Leave Gagan alone and let him do whatever he wants to do. It should be his choice if he wants to stay here in the US or go back to Nepal. He is a grown man and he knows what he wants for his best. Good luck Gagan and hope you will have great time int he USA.

We are not talking about whether he is a grown man or kidman. He is a leader! Therefore, we cannot leave him alone... his every action will therefore be scrutinized, evaluated, criticized or appluaded as neceassary. Exerting pressure doesn't mean Ghokrothyak layera Gagan lai Nepal tira pharkaune. Wherever, he is going and giving talk, you guys shoudl go and exert perssure on him to be a good leader, if you want him to be a good leader... Remember, today's student leaders going to be your leader in the future... and show me how amny past student leaders have proved themselves to be a good leader???

Gagan ta jhan Thhulo Thulo kura garne manchhe... who knows what will happen in future... but if you like him so much, then make sure he would turn out to be a good leader to rule your brothers and sisters in Nepal.

Thehi ta bhanya ni Dalli Resham .. K sano kabita lakya thi yaha ta griha yuda nai suru bho yaar iZen , I can make subtle humor about you too. But I wont right? kina bhanda you are not GAGAN..My point is - Celebrities are things to talk about..GAGAN (Political Celebrity) does know about this as well.. If somebody doesn't like him, well, thats somebody's choice. Yesma tatinu parne kura k cha re..And believe me Gangan bro ni tatidaina if he knows some of us don?t like him at all. Manche ko afno afno perception ho.. Somebody likes King and Paras, somebody likes Gagan, somebody even likes Girija and somebody likes just himself/herself. Bro Mahatma Gandhi lai ta choddainan manche le and on the other side Hitler ko admirer haru chan.. So next is Gagan among us..Jo extraordinary cha tyasko kura huncha bro, timro mero kura kasaile ni gardaina tyasaile dherai tatinu pardaina.. Aba hera na NEPE is something we are not even close to, sacho artha ma he is hero of SAJHA.. Thats why I included him with Gangan too.. U know, I would be happiest person in the world, if people are concern about me like we are concern about GAGAN there in this poster.. They way I portrait him in that post may not represent him at all.. It is just a satire for him being JALDO BALDO NETA.. U know what I think about Gagan in true sense?, Gagan is here to gain popularity.. Will Gangan stay ? NO he won't.. He is not a STUPID. He knows he has bright career ahead and he is gaining fame day after day.. This what I have thought even before he was here..This is exactly what wise Politician do as well..What do you think Gangan is doing ?SAMAJ SEWA..? NO he is not.. He is politician but beyond others (here is the point to note)..Had we given a chance we would have done same thing as well. You know what Gangan think about himself? Actually he is surprise to see himself as Generation-neXt Neta.. He hadn't thought about it when he has just a candidate in a college election.. Tyo ni uskai saathi haru le Kaar garera "Hamro group bata ni ek jana uthnu parcha". Things just happen like that.. But his potential and intelligency brought him here, at this stage now.. Now this is his career... Like we are obsessed to our career he is obsessed to his..Aba career moral nai ta Gangan le ahile chadi haldainan.. If somebody ever bring democracy in Nepal that would be GAGAN supported by young Nepali.. Kina bhanda ahile Nepal ma layek NETA nai chainan.. GAGAN KO vagya daro ho, samay le bado saath diyo GANGAN bro lai.. I don't think I put something harsh on him.. And if you are talkin Gagan, ya I know him when we were in school, at different occasions we had MOMO together too. Maybe I wouldn't have recall, if he is not a potent figure.. My bad he would obviously would not recall me. Ever since I haven't got chance to meet but saw once his Dada giri attribute during BSc Exam. Lets not bring that here, I would have done same if I was in power.. Wish I could be Gangan.. Calm down iZen bhai.. Prem Dai timile ali positive bhayera post gareko maile ahile samma ni padnu payeko chaina.. Timro nature nai yesto ho ? ALOCHAK all the time ? iZen by the way " Do you Satosh Bhattarai from SHANKAR NAGAR "

I like to see who ever become generation NeXt of Nepal be completely opposite of generation eX of Nepal. If you had seen him attributing to "dada giri" attitude you should come up with the issue.I met Gagan last week in person.I was impressed by his knowledge about rural Nepal. There were times when I felt like he was just trying to seek a short-cut path to power. And I told him I was really disappointed that he was attacked by the Koiralas. He had no say on this matter I felt he understood he can easily be sidelined by the Koiralas. We agreed to disagree on couple other issues.A well wisher is not a yes-man as it seems like to play in Nepal. The issue of monarchy's end is not a "bhanda kuti ko khel".When we had to go through such a disaster in an infant democracy worse seem to be inevitable for an infant republican. Are we ready for that?Monarchy needs to go.I agree but are we prepared for the aftermath.Do the republican supporters have that persuasive power for the new generation Nepal to deliver peace and stability?Pisces:It is easy to create a promises hard to keep it up.Even Gagan knows it is a long process and he told me that couple times last week.I wish to see a republican Nepal but I wish to see a peaceful and stable republican Nepal and so does my children. The hero-worship culture of Nepal has contributed more than anything else to this obstacle of freeflow of ideals. If you are older than me as you have mentioned I am sure you had this in back of your head.Just a thought. Anyways,Piscesji I am from Bhairahawa.Born and raised until my SLC.Santosh Bhattarai clicks me I can't be sure where.:)

Piscces:... sorry you could not find anything positive in My postings!!! I am sorry for you actually. Tell me if this one I wrote earlier is postivei or negative? "... ask him NOT TO CLOSE THE SCHOOLS, BUT OPEN THE SCHOOLS if they have to protest.. " Do you think it is negative of me if I hate seeing all those schools/colleges closed when they were protesting? Think this one as well..... Most of you guys in USA are there. Why? Don't you think part of the reason, perhaps big part, was that in those days it used to take 3-4 years to finish PCL levels in Nepal due to stikes and so on, don't talk about how many years to complete bachelor or masters degrees in Nepal then. Think clearly why you guys had to leave Nepal and came to USA, and would not go back to Nepal!!!!!!

Time and again Nepalese have been betrayed by the leaders. I do not know Gagan, but if he seems to be promising young leader, he might be the one, we need. But stil,l he needs to mend his ways. Schools and colleges can never be targeted. That should be communicated to this dude. That is NO NO.

I am really impressed by Prem_dai's logics. Gagan is a public figure.. so people will discuss both positively and negatively about him in public forum. But sometimes people might have problme distinguishing between positive and negative postings.

Dhetarika, Prem_dai: Because you wrote to San here how ironic to place Gagan Thapa's interview or Talk movie file at the sajha.com main webpage instead of putting it in the political forum, that clip has vanished... where to find that click? Does any one of you have any idea how to find it?

Don't worry about missing that clip. Afterall, Gagan talked nothing new there and his talking style is obnoxious. He talks like a Gunda in my opinion. People talk very highly of him... I thought Gagan must be something... until today!! After watching that clip... uit's just people's expectation of seeing Gagan as a leader..... but will he be a good leader< I doubt. Of course he will be a leader .. but good one or bad one???? Time will tell that!!! I will wait that time.
