Till July 21, 2007, the collected donation amount seems $1,037.00. As I talked to Kiranji of CNP, he will be updating for additional collection amount within a day or two. Meanwhile, Nirmala had an appointment to the University of Burmingham at Alabama Hospital on July 16 & 17 for her hand & vocal cord problem. Mr. Prajwol Raj Joshi from Static Nepal helped Nirmala with hospital arrangements and provided a very good support. Nirmala & his brother Dhruba stayed with him for a day, during their hospital visit. As he discussed with the Doctor, Nirmala may get another appointment for the operation of her left hand on August 23, 2007. Some of the nerves of left hand are damaged, hence she needs to get operation for an improved movement of her hand. So far as the speech problem is concerned, Doc said that her vocal cord will be improved slowly. During these periods, in presence of Mr. Prajwal Raj Joshi of Static Nepal (who had taken the first initiation for Nirmala's help after her accident), Troy University Management had returned Nirmala with her collected donation amount of about $4000.00. This amount was collected by Static Nepal and handed to the Troy University. This could happen after a controversial discussion in Sajha forum. Thanks for all being supportive to Nirmala Subedi. Nirmala, Get Well Soon!!

Chicagoland Nepali Pariwar (CNP) has issued/released a chek of amount $1262.00 (with deducting paypal fee) to Nirmala Subedi. I like to thank CNP & Mr. Kiran Byanjankar for taking initiation, supporting and being so cooperative for Nirmal's Fund Raising. Panasonic, mn-guy, bhuntemailo, and all of the frends of sajha, thanks for being supportive and helping Nirmala. Recently, Nirmala had a series of hospital appointments and finally got an operation for her left hand (which had movement problem). Now she is recovering and planning to go back to Nepal, with her brother Dhruba Subedi. A group of American people (probaly from the church) around Troy are showing a great support, since 2 months. Even they are filling their refrigerator with foods. Whenever needed, they were helping them to commute to the hospital, without which, Nirmal was unable to reach to the hospital for the visits. A good news- some people among them had planned to visit India. Now, they are willing to go Nirmala's home, too. They are trying to book a flight ticket with the same schedule and want to take them with care & suport. As Nirmala cant walk properly without suport, she may need such care, indeed. As doctors adviced, she will recover slowly and need to continue with physical exercise after going home. Personally, I am grateful to all of the donors and well-wishers who supported Nirmala in such a cirtical condition! (Nirmal & her brother Dhruba Subedi can be reached in mobile no.: 334-434-0866)
