By the way, watching facial expression of Prashant when judges were commenting, I felt that
Prashant was ready to hear Jabed criticizing him no matter how well he had performed. He stopped expecting any good remarks from Jabed. His facial expression tells he does have some kind of Gorkheli Aakrosh against Jabed or disbelief or a kind of lost faith. His facial expression change when other judges were commenting on him. Udit's comment was balanced and more professional.

guys lets not take care of what judges say, i now think that they really dont know how to judge, being a judge at such a big show i think the when a contestent sings a song very well every judge should be capable of finding out that he is singing good (they should know pitching, range, sur, taal, voice throw, clearity etc.) and same with the bad singing. (and they should give some constructive suggestions based on the facts) if they cannot figure out these things than why are they there, it sounds like one judge is trying to act superior than the other and leading the show to other directions rather than the fact.

I agree that prashant is not a superior singer to others. But, I disagree that Amit Paul is a better singer. He is not versatile enough. Look at his song selections. Bottom line, no one is superior. Who ever has the most fans will win since we already know that all of them are talented (except Ankita, I think she does not have a good voice, my personal view) singing-wise. So, prashant for the title.
In my opinion, Amit is the most versatile singer here. He has sung songs from Udit Narayan, James, Hariharan, Sukhwinder, Soham etc. I think that is versatile enough for him to win the title. Look at Emon and Prashant. They always stick with Sonu Nigam songs. So for me, they are not versatile singers. Prashant did sing good and hopefully, he'll be there in the next round. But once again, I'd like to point out that he does not have what it takes to make him the idol. I see Amit, Emon and then Prashant.
I put Emon ahead of Prashant because if you consider the technical aspect of singing (which is the most important factor in singing) Prashant is far behind him. Emon is almost flawless in his rendition every time he performs where as Prashant falters sometimes. Now coming at this stage of the show, he has to deliver nothing less than a 'outstanding' performance. However, I like Prashant's voice quality over Emon though. But singing wise, Prashant needs to put in more.
I think good singer is the one who is gifted with a charismatic voice...not trained voice. And prashant's voice is the most Pleasant and charismatic....which is lacking in Amit's and Emon. Emon might sound more trained and Amit more loud but prashant's voice is breath taking. His voice can really capture people's heart
For the 1st time I felt Prashant aced an episode...there certainly has been many many times when Prashant has sung good ..but someone else always fared better than him ..but today with probably his best performance so far he was just phenomenal.
Although Ankita was the worst today, I think Puja should leave.
We all have one or the reasons for watching the show.

I believe a good singer has to have a good voice and he should excel technically. And again, if you talk about voice quality, Amit has the most beautiful voice. And I do not understand why you find Prashant's voice so breath-taking. His voice quality is average.
Lastly, the only singer who pulled off without major technical prowess and succeeded was Kishore Kumar but our Prashant is no Kishore Kumar. Is he?
