i first learned bout computer when i was in 10 grade. so that was in 1992. 486 computes. no where in sight in that picture.
But yes they are some machines from 1998 though.

i play with the motherboards and stuffs.. doing all sorts of things. so if you are asking about the processors i have wide range ranging from PII 333Mhz, PIII 800Mhz, PIII-700Mhz, PIV 1.4GhZ, Thoroughbred A,, thunderbred. fully loaded with about 512MB-2GB ram on each one. 128MB Graphics Card. dual ethernet cards. one runs linux kernel 2.4 with quad processor of thoroughbred A. (o:
On the sun side, i do have sparc 5s running sunos 2.5 and sunos 2.4 [ old old machines]
i also have couple of ultra 10s running sun 2.8. Ultra 10s r dual processor 400 Mhz.L2 cache with 1GB of RAMs on each one.

I dont have much compared toyou...but I got ol PII machines with mostly linux n GNU runnin on them....I got a AMD 64 bit runnin Suse on it....and a P4 3.2 windows.....havent ventured much on the sun side....I got a 3Com rack switch if you're interested in those....Im lookin for a dual processor motherboard to build a server station.

It is nice to see something different. Well not really, but nevertheless a welcome digress from other mundanely interesting threads.

Well, I was about to post a picture of my room as well. But, I better not, for it tells a story of my life, a strong sense of delusion - each having its own story lays scattered all over. That is what happens when you have no choice, but to rest, and you go thru all the craps you never knew, or have already forgotten.

It is as though Katrina struck my room before it hit New Orleans, completely destroying whatever little sanity my abode had. And then came Rita. And people ask me what's in the name. Hehe ;).

Now, what shape is my room in, one can imgine.

O.k. I am up for some ramblings. Why not I write some shit!

do not get disheartened. I am sure in time u will have more stuff than i do. I have slacked off in last two years considerably due to lot of personal stuffs. but for me i am more into the physical layer so i keep on playing with the network traffic etc.. tcp/ip headers etc. about linux. i do play with various kernel versions. KDE environment.
Suse.. i think i need to put my hands on it. i am more into the telecommunication side of it. so what i do is connect these machines with different cards "not only ethernet". i have some t1, e1 cards.. which i use for traffic load sharing etc.
