Watched it while I was there in Nepal. It was some emotional ride. Later I started reading nowadays that so many things were off the track in there. It was basically a set up to make us as younger generations to go through some guilt trip. I kind of agree, yes. Why would not the parents have no penny with them for their retirement, everything went to the education and raising of 3-4 sons then? Why would the parents have to turn to their kids for retirement when they could have empowered themselves in some way, which the father does realize towards the end of the movie but yes after some heavy tear-jerking moments, and most of them were over the top. I am not saying the old father to go to work and languish in the rat race, but there were a lot of ways to gain financial independence. It kind of showed that the parents were not that smart right off the bat. And the blame keeps going to the generation who are indifferent to the older ones and their needs. Just my two cents!

प्राईभेट स्कुल र कलेज अनि विदेश सम्म पुर्याएर पढाइ दिने जिम्मेबारी बाउ आमाकै थाप्लोमा छ र हामि पनि थाप्लोले बोक्न नसके पनि घर जग्गा धितो बन्धक राखी (थप दाइत्य्व बोकी ) पढाएकै छौ |
बाउ आमाले पनि कति सम्म चै गर्ने भन्ने सिमा निर्धारण गर्ने बानि र संस्कार मा नहुर्किएको कारण छोरा छोरी ले नाति नातिना जन्माई सकेका र उनीहरुले आफ्नो दाइत्व बोक्ने बेला मा पनि थप दाइत्य्व बोकी बस्ने हाम्रो बानि कै कारण छोरा छोरी हरु आत्मनिर्भरता तिर अभिमुख नभएका हुन् कि ?
मेरै छिमेकीको मा हली भएर बसेकाले सहरमा घर घडेरी जम्मा गरे भने जसको हलो जोतेको हो तिनका छोरा हरुले बाउ आमाकै जग्गा भाग बाडेर लिए | यी मुखिया बाका छोरा हरुले बाउ आमाको जग्गा पाउदैनन् भन्ने परेको भए अबस्य पनि आफैले जोड्ने तिर लाग्थे कि लाग्दैन थिए ? यो पनि बिचारणिय कुरा हुन जस्तो लाग्छ !

नया बिधान ले बाउ आमाले सम्पति भाग नलगाउनु पर्ने र छोरा छोरीले बाउ आमालाई भरथेक गर्नु पर्ने नियम ल्याउन लागेकोछ भन्ने सुन्छु | साझामा मैले नेपाल बाट सम्पत्ति लिएर आएको म धनि मानि ( बाउ आमाले कमाएको मा आफुलाई धनि मानि सम्झने दिग्भ्रमित हरु को दिमाग ठिक हुदै जाला ) ठान्ने हरुले के चै मेरो र के चै बाउ आमाको हो छुट्याउन थाले पछि मात्र आउने जेनेरेसन को बानि व्यहोरा मा अबस्यनै परिवर्तन आउला | आफुले परिश्रम नै नगरी म धनि ठान्ने हरु उनीहरुले होइनन बाउ आमा र हाम्रो संस्कार ले दिएको गलत communication को कारण हो |
फिल्म हेरीको छैन तर बाउ आमाले आफ्नो कर्तब्य भन्दै बुढेसकालको लागि बिचार नै नगरी छोरा छोरी प्रति लगानी ठानि चुर्लुम्ब रिणमा डुब्नु हाम्रो अन्ध प्रेम हो ?
