We have not won yet, the king is playing is cards carefully, we should not hoodwinked by his speech, what he has done is nothing than returned the status quo prior to Feb 1.

He has failed to address Maoist insurgency and the mofo wants us to recommend name of PM to him.

We should intensify the protests and remove him from throne. If we cannot do that, we have to ensure that ARMY is under the government for the the time being.

We can go for constitution assembly after we have the ARMY under the people's government.

Atti vo bro:
I could not agree more. In his addresss Gyne goes It is conventional for Shah rulers to rule the country according to people's wsh. if that is so then why did he call for municiple election knowing that there would not be any participation from SPA? He did not give the executive power back as a Naso. Naso means something somebody gives you to protect for some time but he himselfgrabbed the executive power himself. NASO my AS..........
He says he believes in constitutional monarchy and multi-party democracy. Well it's too late Gyne, "We do not believe in ANY FORM OF MONARCHY, we just believe in multi-party democracy, The New People's Republic of Nepal with freedom and opportunity for all. We believe in freedom with responsibility . Therefore, we must continue our struggle until Gyne gives in completely and agres to live like a n ordinary c itizen like all of us. Otherwise , We have not forgotten the FRENCH REVOLUTION.

Note the following points.

1.First of all, he has tried to justify his visits to countryside.
2. He has expressed gratitudes towards the security personnels who have been loyal to the king and involved in killing of innocent people.
3. Unlike previous traditions, he hasn't dissovled this government. Nowhere, he said that this government has been dissolved.
4. He didn't give any deadlines to the parties to nominate their leader for the prime minister.
5. Unlike previous traditions, he didn't underline any responsibilities or issued directives to the the new "would be government".
6. He said the current government would keep on working until the new government is formed. He seems to have understood that parties would not accept his offer and that he could make it a reason to keep on his direct rule.

7. The speech doesn indicate how the maoist issues will be addressed and how the maoist will come in main line politics. Were the maoist so simply give up weapons, they wouldn't fight a war for 12 years.

This arrogant king is still not ready to recognize the power of the people and it seems that his fall is inevitable.
