No use of election where Maoists will lose, says Dr. Bhattarai

A senior Maoist leader has said that there is no use of holding election, which the Maoists will lose.

"What kind of election will that be where the Maoists who have established progressive political demands will lose?" asked Dr. Baburam Bhattarai, the Maoist number two.

Dr. Bhattarai stated that since all of his party's political demands have been established, the Maoists must win the election to implement them, reported Kantipur FM.

Speaking at an interaction in the capital, Saturday, he said that the election, which the Maoists lose, will be nothing but 'a drama quite like the one staged by King Gyanendra.'

He claimed that all the progressive political demands like Constituent Assembly, proportional representation, Dalit Janajati rights etc were established by his party.

Dr. Bhattarai also defended his party chairman Prachanda's recent controversial remark on forging alliance with nationalists close to the King.

"Our chairman had said that since the republic is coming, it would be necessary to bring on board the nationalist forces close to the King so that they will not create commotion after republic is established," he said.

"For national unity, yesterday's parliamentary forces, monarchists and revolutionaries all should come together. Only then can a new Nepal be realised," Dr. Bhattarai asserted. nepalnews.com sd Dec 08 07

I remember when he was in JNU, he used to visit Maoists in our university 200 km away. One of my fellow Nepali in the same university was a super Maoists, and used to host BRB's trip to our university to gather info on communists and non-communists (reactionary egg-heads in his version). He used to create havoc within our Nepali community with extreme Maoist propaganda, he used to highjack some of our fellow Nepalis who were weak in their emotions. We nearly had physical fight in "GANG FIGHT" style under the provocation of the BRB's friend. That night, we were ready to fight with these idiots in case they invade our hostel.

Because of him and his hidden agenda, we lost our control over university mess (where about 150 students used to eat, used to have Nepali student as Mess Manager), and the control went to an idiot skinny person who charged extra bucks for every extra thing you order claiming that Nepalis get money : scholarship and can pay more for extra things. We suffered the whole year because this guy's divide and rule. He was certainly successful in his mind. Saitan le marepachhi pani dukh dinchha bhanthe, and these commies were living at least 1 mile away, but created problem in our hostel using remote controls. Unfortunately, he landed in Canada and left his left idolism in real practice, though he still preaches his non-sense stuffs: want Nepal to be a communist country while enjoys Canadian PR if not citizenship. For them, if it is not for me, then let it be for none. That is communist's real working philosophy. Believe it or not.

How many of us remember that Babu Ram Bhattarai visited Pashupati Shamsher's house, and talked about the Dog in PSR 's house. It might be an attempt to include PSR because he has some influential relatives in Indian Politics. I am not sure why but BRB also visited Kriti Nidhi Bista's house, you know why? Kriti Nidhi Bista is said to be a chinese card in Panchayat Regime, and he did something in relation to China during Mahendra.

Only thing I am not sure is, Surya B. Thapa. Lokendra Chand and Marich Man were said to be Communists in the past, and joined Panchayat in direction communist party. I see SB Thapa as a poor guy of Panchayat era who does not have any card left to have alliance, and was responding fast to get endorsed by Maoists.

Mr. Pun, a royalist minister, and former congress who had helicopter service, used to carry medicine for Maoists, and caught red handed by Nepal Army. Mr. Pun used to tell that his helicopter has problem, and land in the heartland of maoist, and leave later "REPAIRED". Mr. Pun was playing triple: as former congress, as royalist minister, and as a supporter to Maoists. I am not sure whether Mr. Pun's helicopter were helping Maoists in the direction of King Gyanendra ..... yet to investigate, and EXPOSE the facts. Badri Mandal has link with Terai's party, and certainly remains a great source to Gyanendra to have waves in Terai against Maoists. .... Keep Guessing. Fact will come soon. After all, Maoists are Royalists, who says "NO". Don't rely on mouth, rely on actions! RC Poudel was correct, as correct as GPK was correct when you look at what GPK said in 2046 in aftermath of 2046 andolan.
