Hello Everybody,

Let's put our heads together and come up with a list of unique people/events that differentiates itself. Let's focus on politics. Once over, I am thinking of making this as a front page of a website (I am dreaming of) that will track Mao's achievements....sort of like "keeping them honest" with Anderson

 

1. Only in Nepal, people elect rebels who killed about 15000 innocent lives and become victorious to rule the country keeping their terrorizing machines like YCL and PLA intact!

 

2. Only in Nepal rebels ask King to vacate the palace one day and on the very next day they say "his cultural rights will be protected along with allowances". I guess they really take general people for bunch of stupid heads,...what else could they be since they voted for them!

 

3. Only in Nepal, politicians declare the country to be secular one day and the very next day "head of the state of secular nation" attends all the religious ceremony replacing the Hindu King!

 

4. Only In Nepal leaders can get away by instructing their cadres to be Gandhi only for SEVEN days! People elect them!

 

5. Only in Nepal, rebel leader who murdered tens of 1000s dares to go on a National TV and say "Nepalese people may forgive the king for his past mistakes". People clap but forget to ask "what about you dude"!

 

6. Only in Nepal, Maos change their ideology to CAPITALISM! People forget to ask what is left of your core values!

 

7. Only in Nepal “few” rightful owners get their portion of their properties back from Maos to be told “not to sell them”. It is your property….that reminds me Prachanda was riding around in a stolen vehicle which was recognized by the owner. Shame on you….but people elected him! Shame on whom?

8. Only in Nepal do we want to elect netas based on the years they spent in prison.  Their seniority in their parties  directly correlates to their years in jail.  Bidesh tira ta tyo lato haru lai ta election pani uthnu paudaina thyo.

9.  Only in Nepal can a terror group who started their atrocities ONLY 10-12 years ago make it to head the government (that too elected by the people) in such a short span a time without a coup or a REAL civil war.

10.  Only in Nepal do we collectively trust these money-minded, self-righteous, kill at all costs Maoists.  Didn't the elections prove it??
