jerseycity , You do not need any stamping if you have a Valid Visa till 2011. You can get I20 from Any colleges-University as per my knowledge. Wait for response from some more Sajha senior members. NepaliThita

Hey Jersey City, Even I think so, As long as you are having valid visa, you may get an I-20 from any college and should be able to go back to Nepal. I believe, there should not be any problem at the point of reentry. But still make sure with other people as well........... R j

Jerseycity, It might be a typical issue in port of entry and chance of denied. I think, you might heard some of them have same problems in the past and posted in this forum too. The visa has stamped with the I-20 in the name of particular college (name of old college/university). Once, you change the college you have to make restamp as per new I-20. Because, you have already completed the OPT and desired course too. Read the USCIS latest information very carefully before move ahead. Thanks

Hey JerseyCity I also think that you do not have to go for stamping. But make sure you get some legal advise from any lawyer or you can even ask on other immigration forums like www.murthy.com Good Luck

You do not need any stamping if you have a Valid Visa . You can get I20 from Any colleges-University as per my knowledge. My personal advice its better to visit Nepal right now rather than once the visa is expired because visa renewal can be denied for multiple reason one being u already finished u'r college. Also better try graduate school rather than Community college
