Hi, I am a recent graduate with bacheolors degree in IT. I am interested in Database Systems and have taken some advance DB courses too. I am thinking of joining masters program. I don’t know if I should pursue computer science for masters or do something different. I need some suggestions. Also, any good universities for good computer science? Offering potential TA/GA assistantship. Thank you

If you get job offer, obviously go for it. Experience counts more than the degrees from my personal experience. You can work for couple of years and decide what you really want to study for Masters. Once you decide, then you can join some part-time/online University programs while you work. Barron's GRE prep book is really good! Goodluck!

thanks for the feedback. Yes, I am looking for jobs, but no luck so far. As a backup, want to prepare for masters and cannot decide what i want to do masters on. Should I continue IT because I already have very good base from undergrad or should I do MBA? but for MBA, isnt work expereince required?
Any good schools for computer science masters? Do they have assistantship?

I would rather go for IT ...since you do not have H1-B yet I guess..so if you are going to file H1-B probably next year or after finishing Masters, that time MBA degree may not work for you since you will be working as a IT guy... My 2 cents...
