hello there,
I just got H1b and effective from10/1. I am working in cap-gap but my current pay stubs hours are less than fulltimer( like in training). I had filed as full timer but being paid as per LCA wage rate. I am planning to aplly H4 for my wife within in couple of weeks. Does it necessary to show that paystubs or only my bank balance will work? these current paystubs will gonna work? Please suggest me.

Before H1 approval doesn't matter.Send 4-5 pay stubs.Paystubs is formality document.Counsular may or may not see.I am telling this from experience.

I would say wait for your h1b to kick in so that you will get paid for 40 hrs unless your h1b approval is for part time. Or don't show your paystub as your h1b hasn't kicked in yet.

Dude, I think ur wife will qualify for F2 not H4 coz ur H1 is starting from Oct.Please consult ur international consular.If ur wife applies for H4, embassy will perform PMIS verification and will know that ur H1 date is oct and H4 application will disqualify.I don't mean to discourage you but I think I am right.Good luck.I know after oct 1st ur wife will 100% qualify for H4.
CAP Gap means u r still on F1.

@edipre, u r right but I had heard some diffrent. They issue visa for H4 after approval of principal applicant's H1 approval. They might say to H4 holder to enter us only after oct 1 in some cases. But I am not sure. Please anyone who have this issue before?
