haha. I like the way how you said "after Girija's death." It's a pathetic fact indeed that Nepal is still experiencing the gooey effects started by the politicians of yesteryears that still pose a threat to political freedom to the ordinary Nepali people. Isn't it hilarious that despite being in the 80's Girija is still serving as the prime minister? Isn't there a reason why there are laws and rules that prevent a person of certain age from serving at an office everywhere else? ( like the president of the U.S.). Senecense ( budhyauli ) results in short memory to people but sadly, nobody has been able to accept it! If the maobadis were to win the election ( god forbid ) , then I can see that they're going to have quite a strong grip on Nepalese political scenario resulting in the sacking of all the other shitty leaders.
