it has been 4 yrs that i have been in the US.i'm taking Business as my major n have like a yr n a half to finish it. but right now i'm in a little trouble, i.e.i do not have my I20. as an international student this is very important for me that i should have one. the problem is that i came to Univ.A, studied there for one semester and tranfered to Univ B. i went school there for almost two yrs and again i transfered from there to Univ.C, went there for a semester and came to a new Univ.D. since last two yrs i have been in this Univ (D) now, but i do not have an I20. the problem started after i transfered from Univ.C to D. now that i have been here with almost 2 yrs and no I20, i'm in a problem.so i would like someone to pls give me any useful information on this. i would really appreciate that. thank you.

EXACTLY WHAT WERE YOU DOING FOR LAST 2 YEARS IN UNI. D WITHOUT I-20.? NORMALLY UNI. ISSUED YOU I-20 ONCE YOU HAVE BEEN ADMITTED INTO THEIR INSTITUTION AFTER A MONTH OR SO. WHY YOU DIDN'T CONFRONT YOUR INTERNATIONAL ADVISOR REGARDING THIS EARLIER. THE FAULT COULD HAVE BEEN THAT SINCE YOU TRANSFER FROM ONE PLACE TO ANOTHER SEVERAL TIMES THEY OVERSEE YOUR STATUS. THAT IS THEY MIGHT HAVE CONSIDER YOU A AMERICAN CITIZEN. YOU BETTER CONSULT YOUR INTERNATIONAL ADVISOR AND GET I-20 ASAP OR YOU HAVE TO TRANSFER TO E WHICH IS NOT UNI. BY THE WAY BUT EXIT FROM USA AND ENTARNCE TO YOUR COUNTRY WHEVER YOU MIGHT HAVE COME FROM. GOOD LUCK PAL.
