I'm from accounting background and not much knowledge of technical field. I am totally confused as to what career to take up. Should I go for SAP Fico or does Business Analysis have better opportunities? Which pays better? and which job would have more work pressure? Many of my friends told me that SAP Fico is too stressful. is it true? which is better inlong term? SAP FICO or BA? I would really appreciate some advice on this. Thanks.

I think if you are from accounting background, may be go for FICO, it may be easy. Well I am also from accounting background planning to taking CPA; however, coz of the new rule imposed by USCIS, i may be doing FICO too, coz i cant take CPA while in school and as soon as I am done with school need to find job within 3 months, so no time to prepare for exams

Sharp,
FICO + CPA has a great scope. Its good to hear you had plan for CPA, but don't give up your dreams even though you will be doing bit later than you had origionally thought about.
As per Shreyas question I'd definately go for FICO as its someting related to accounting, so that you are not too much diversed from your origional track. Inconsistensies in such, may have negative impact when you reach to certain stage in your career, so we need to keep that in mind too.
as per me, I am just going school right now, in acct and hoping to do CPA, but still tough road to pave but still trying to keep my dreams alive.

I think Business Analyst is better choice for you. As you don't have technical background, you can easily manage functional roles as a BA. Programming might be hard for you to catch up. But, Ask yourself what you want to do and what you want to be in your life. Good Luck!
