 How to prepare for H4 dependent Visa

I am glad to inform that finally my wife and daughter got H4 dependent visa after 3 times rejection in F1. If you are applying for your spouse and kids H4 dependent visa, here are the documents you need to collect and prepare:

1. Invitation Letter from you
2.Company's Recommendation Letter plus Job Offer Letter
3. H1B Approval Document
4. H1B Petition Documents
5. 1040 Tax refund Applications
6. W2 Documents
7. Pay stubs for atleast 3 months
8. Bank Statements(Bank of America+ MidWestOneBank)
9. I-20 Documents (Old issued during admission and new issued during H1B while on CPT/OPT)
10. I-94 Document
11. Insurance
12. Bank Balance statements.
13. Property Valuation from CA
14. Marriage Certificate and others related stuffs like Invitation Cards, Marriage photos etc.
15. Child's Birth Certificate
16. Relationship Certificate
17. Apartment Lease
18. If you have under Student status (F1), then show Transcript Certificate
19. Citizenship Certificate and Translation of applicant (Spouse)
20. Police record of Spouse

These are the Interview questions:

Questions about the Visa
------------------------
1.What type/kind of visa are you applying for?
2.When did your husband get his stamping?
3.Why do you need a visa to USA?
4.If you didn’t go for the H4 interview with your spouses’ H1B visa appt: Why did you not come with your husband for the

interview?
5.If going after spouse has left to USA: Why did you not leave with your spouse or why are you coming today for visa when

you got married on so and so date?
6.Who filed the visa application and where did you file it?
7.Who made the interview appointment?
8.How did you receive the documents?
9.I see that you have been rejected earlier, do you know why? (Possible question, if you have been rejected before)


Questions about Your Marriage
------------------------------
1.When did you get married or what is your date of marriage?
2.Did you have an arranged or love marriage?
3.When did you meet your spouse for the first time?
4.How did you meet your spouse?
5.Who arranged this marriage or how did you get this proposal?
6.Where did you get married?
7.Is your marriage registered?
8.Can I see some wedding photographs?

Questions about You
--------------------

1.Where are you staying currently?
2.Who are you staying with?
3.Where will you stay in USA?
4.Who will bare the expenses while you are in USA or who will financially support you in the US?
5.Who will pay for your trip to the US?
6.Do any of your relatives/friends live in USA except your husband?

Questions about Your Spouse
---------------------------
.What is your husband doing?
•What is your spouse’s date of birth?
•Which university did your spouse graduate from?
•What is your spouse’s highest degree?
•Which company does your spouse work for?
•Who is sponsoring in your husbands H1?
•Where is his employer located?
•Where are his clients located?
•What kind of work does your spouse do at the USA Company?
•How long has your spouse been in USA?
•How long has your spouse been working for the sponsoring company?
•What will you do after your visa is completed/expired?
•How much he is earning or what is the pay of your spouse or what is the annual income of your spouse?
•Can I see some pay stubs from your spouse’s paycheck?
•Can I have a look at your spouse's bank statements?
•Have your spouse applied for green card?
•Can you please show me your tax returns, bank statements, play slips, etc.?

Tips
----
• Keep a copy of all your documents.
• Answer all questions clearly during the interview.
• Upon receiving your visa, carefully check for any kind of mistakes like name, date of birth, type of visa, validity date,

etc:

Thanks neerman for your kind info. I am also looking for applying for H4 dependent visa for my wife. Could you please send me those sample invitation letter sent by you and sample Company's Recommendation Letter plus Job Offer Letter, please? I would like to thank you in advance for your help.
