Well i dont think even the OLD panches would want the PANCHAYET back. Just my few cents. They are used to Democracy but the only problem ahead of all of us is CORRUPTION and LACK OF GOOD GOVERNANCE. The KING has made a bold move but we still have to see the outcome. If the KING does what he has said, then we all WILL welcome Kuputra PARAS wholeheartedly and except him at the NEXT KING of out NATION, if not then this is the END of MONARCHY and we will probably be voting GIRIJA for the PRESIDENT of NEPAL.

I am so tired of this attitude of nepali politicians. For the last 14 yrs they couldnot agree on anything rather they fought for POWER and MINISTRIES, now the same politicians, to name few GIRIJA, MAKUNE, SHER BAHADUR are asking nepali people (they called it after 14 yrs other wise it would have been, Mera KARYAKARTA so which basically divided Nepali PEOPLE in sub categories) to unite to fight against the KING, i would say why on earth they couldnot say the same to the Nepali People to unite together to fight against MAOIST. If they would have united a long time back, KING wouldnot have to do all these so called COUP d'etat and take the absolute POWER.

Now we saw 14 Governments in 13 years, all were worthless, now Lets give KING a chance, he is not asking a long time, 3 years just 3 years, We will see what he can do and what he will prove US.

For 13 years we saw 14 governments right, We had 13 PM's, GIRIJA, MAN MOHAN, SHER BAHADUR, SURYA BAHADUR, LOKENDRA BAHADUR, all these jacky, had to either step down or thrown out because of their ineligibility for the post of SUPREMO of the NATION. Only these faces repeated time after time, and we Nepali People were fooled, everytime, we voted again for the same CORRUPT, SELFISH politicians. IF these faces really thought of Nation, they claim to be more PATRIOTIC than US, if so, they would have given chance to the YOUNGER GENERATION to GOVERN the NATION but they never thought, cuz they are POWER GREEDY and WITH LACK OF FUNDAMENTAL RULES of POLITICS AND GOOD GOVERNANCE.

So, the time has come to bring changes FOR the NATION, LETS GIVE ooops, i cant speak on others behalf, but I CAN GIVE KING G A CHANCE.

----DC bro, i was battling myself with this question, but today i have found an answer. Why give King a chance, if we do, we will have to give his son a chance, then his grandson a chance, and so on. WHY GIVE A CHANCE?

WHy cannot nepal be a true republic, where even a madeshe or a tharu can be a president. IF king today is given a chance, he will not move out his chair, (how do i know?? HUMAN NATURE, LUST FOR POWER!!) lets think positively ppl, wud you want one same family/dynasty rulling our country?? dont you want mass to be representated ?? wud you not want your voice too??

Each country has natural phases they continue on, They are Born ( established), they become a Teenagers(destructive), They gain maturity,( country's best prosporous phase) and at last they get old and ( depressions), but again this natural phenemenon continues with its reborn, ( amendments/laws).

so maybe our country is a teenager right now, let them become mature and decide.
