hi friends,

I am an h1 holder through a consulting firm. havent been able to find job . I am considering to go to school and finish my masters. Can I go full time school? I dont wanna loose time also cant change my status to f1 without a paystubb.

google serarch says part time H1 holder can go full time school. But I 've H1 and no job thru consultant. and dont know if it is part time or full time h1 (in the eyes of authorites). I personally feel even if i register all 9 credit (full time) they would never know. how would they know?? because i am going to school that I was in before(Ive finished my 1st sems of my masters) meaning that i dont need any paper works and registering classes is just a matter of clicks by going to college website . can u folks throw some ideas? I  truly appreciate u'r help.

You can definitely study with H1B visa. But not as a full time, only part tme. To be a full time student you should take 9 credits and have a valid student (F1) visa. This is because you are considered as International student even with H1 visa.

If you have lived in that state for over 1 year, you can qualify for in-state tuition.

You can study full time as long as you are maintaining your H1B status. I am in H1b and I am taking full time online course.
