That is wrong. You will be asked for your current project or employer or pay stubs while you go for visa stamping.

Immigration does not check whether you have project or not. But you will be a  new I-94.  Immigration at the entry port will do some finger printing. I was not asked about employer or project at the entry port when I came back from Canada after visa stamping.

dhoti_prasad,

In ur case U came back US soon after your visa stamp. In my case its been 5 months for my visa stamp. so what would i answer if they ask me why i am late for long period of time?

And what if I didn't get job after I arrive there?

It won't matter if u stayed in Nepal for a longer amount of time. However, once u r in US You have to be paid all the time and there is nothing called Bench Period in H1B.

I repeat coming on US without Project(or not having Job) is Violation of H1B Visa.

So u decide what u need to do. Things r tough these days.
