Dear Sajha TPS gurus,
This afternoon I got the letter of travel authorization from DHS. Many of you might remember that I have already received EAD approval which I wrote in another TPS related thread few days back. I have also applied for replacement of my social security card following suggestions from Sajha TPS gurus like Mangale and Biomed. However, my application for TPS is still pending. When I check my case status in USCIS website it says fingerprint fee is accepted. The travel authorization also says TPS has not been granted yet.
I am in F-1 status continuously since I entered US and have not done anything serious that can draw attention of immigration officers (like working off campus using my social). So I am thinking to travel to Nepal with this travel document and get someone mailed me TPS approval later. Could you please suggest me how wise is this idea ?
I have also posted my travel authorization letter. If you can extract more information from this please let me know about that.
Thanks and Happy Dashain to you all!

Match fixer , I don't think it will be a good idea to travel before your tps is approved ... Tps approval is taking more than 3 months at this moment .. So my suggestion would be to wait until your tps is approved ... By the way how long did it took for your advance parole to be approved ?

@match-fixer First of all, we are just like you.. looking for help and sharing what we have learned during this process. #f1piditketo is right, don't travel unless it's really really important. As far as AP letter says, there is no harm to travel provided your TPS is pending.. though your re-entry depends on approval of your TPS unless you have any other valid status (for example F1). If you never broke any rules in the past, you would must likely be okay. Make sure you have someone to check your mailbox if anything important comes up.

@ Biomed and f1piditketo: Thanks a lot for your suggestions @f1piditketo, tapaiko_mitra and Sushma Gurung: They received my application package (TPS, EAD and AP) on 31st of August. Biometric was done on 2nd October. I received the message (on their website) of EAD approval on 8th October and AP on 16th October. Sushma ji I think you can expedite the process of AP but I am not sure about how. I hope our TPS gurus will also enlighten on this or you might be able to find your answer if you carefully search sajha threads related with TPS. Thanks,
