Now. I am in midst of some serious personal recession. I need money from home. My people have about $400 in cash but in dollars back in Nepal. How can they send it here with minimum charge? How do you guys do it? Please help me, like now. I know there might be a couple of agencies but I'd rather have a word from the people than an agent. 

 as far as i know Nepal restricts flow of Foreign Currency!! You might need to get approval from NRB saying why you need money and stuff!! best bet would be if you are on F1, show i-20 (copy will work i guess) and get CHECK (payable at US) from local bank (you might still need approval from NRB though). [The same initial process we used while coming here in US]

There might be other legal and illegel process involved do find that out!!

I do not think there should be any issues sending 400$ from Nepal to US,, goto bank and then ask them . NIC bank is best to send.

Im in New York. Is there anyone who wants to send money home? I could pay their family back in Nepal. That way we could save us both some money. 

on a slightly different note, malia aafu sanga bhaeko paisa nepal pathaera, tyei paisa pheri malai pathauna lagaunu cha bhane, sabai bhanda cheap ra easy yet, legal way ke huncha. (yeso garda kunai din paryo bhane, ghar batai paisa pathacha bhanna milcha bhanne mero sochai)

school bata papers garera setup garna milcha tha cha, tara tyeso garda paisa sabai school lai jancha as a payment, malai aaudaina i guess. i am not very sure.

 @Uyarihc: So you want to send money home? If yes then we could arrange for that. I could have my people give you the money and you could give me the money here. That way, no fees for either of us. 

@thebubblemouth, i'm cool with that but, sending money back home is only half the story, i also need a proper way to get it back.

 @Uyarihc: So do you want to do it or not? I need it like any day now. So what I can do is have my people give your people the money at home and then you can wire me the money here. I can tell my people to get your people the money first, in case you might be worried about trust and all. Are you cool with it?

@ thebubblemouth, work it out with gaurab_10003, coz my intentions aren't simply to be sending money home, like i said before, i have to have a way to get it sent back to me, which was my main inquirey here. Sorry couldn't help you out.
